Andre James De Leon arrived on November 8th at 7:50 am. It started on Friday afternoon when I called Nick at work and said "honey, I think you should come home." After talking to our doula Nancy, we headed to Beth's Cafe for an incredible meal of pancakes and eggs. The contractions were still not that intense so we headed home for a nap and to see if "this was it".
At around midnight and about 3 hours of sleep, I got out of bed and said "OK.... that one hurt!" We arrived at the hospital around 2:40 am with my contractions around 2 to 3 minutes apart. My midwife checked me and I was fully dialated! Yea! I spent about two more hours in the bath and then about two hours pushing before Andre arrived. It was an amazing experience and I really could not have asked for things to go any better! Welcome Andre!
