Deception Pass

The DeLeon family finally made it to Deception Pass, a state park on the north end of Whidbey Island. It is one of the more popular parks in the area and for good reason. It is beautiful!! Although the bridge was busy, we did a hike in the park and only saw a handful of people. Andre had a great time and Piper got to go too. Here are some photos.

Before driving home, we stopped at Meyer Beach on Whidbey Island. Andre and Piper had a great time getting dirty!

Mother's Day

Debby and Cole came to Seattle for a visit over Mother's Day weekend. Everyone had a really great time and the weather cooperated for the most part. We did the usual Seattle activities... walked around Green Lake, went downtown, brunch on Mother's day.

Yummy!

Andre tried his first solids several weeks ago and it was moderately successful. As you can see, more went out than in. We also tried peaches which he thinks taste much better.
