Christmas

Merry Christmas!! We celebrated our second Christmas as a family last week. We stayed in Seattle again this year but this time we had some family here with us. Dad and Sheila came out from Kansas and we really enjoyed their company. Here are some pics from Christmas Day.

Andre got a tricycle from Santa. He has not mastered it yet but he is working on it.

Too Big for His Britches

Andre is getting more and more independent. He wants to walk everywhere all by himself now. It is really cute and a little scary when he wants to walk into the road or down some stairs. He is really starting to talk and his vocabulary includes… all done, hot, yes, dog, mama, and dada. He is also using sign language for milk, more (we think), and all done (we think).

It Feels Like Winter

It is really starting to feel like winter here. It has been really cold and it is getting dark pretty early. So, we are spending a lot of time inside. Here are some recent photos.

Andre's 1st Birthday

I really can't believe it! Andre turned one this weekend and it was bittersweet. I am sad so see the first year go by so fast but we are so excited to see him continue to grow and learn. Andre is a joy and Nick and I are constantly amazed by him.

Trip to Mississippi

The whole family traveled to Mississippi to visit with the Hill side of the family last week. It was a family reunion. Gabe, Jeanne, Brodie, and Maia drove to Hattiesburg from Dallas, Dad and Sheila flew in from Kansas, and Kelly drove down from Nashville. We had a great time and Andre was so happy to meet more of his extended family. Here are some pictures.

Two Little Dudes

Andre and Isaac are starting to play together now and it is just too cute. Andre is learning a lot from Isaac including making all kinds of noises, giving high five, and an open mouth kiss. Here are some pictures of the two little dudes.

We started swim lessons several weeks ago. Andre was not too sure about the whole situation. He was attached to my neck the whole time. It was understandable with all of the other parents and kids swimming, splashing, and singing. Here are some pictures.
